The refuge of the tongue tied – moaning about the state of our municipality – needs a little bit of balance…
We decry the immense amount of potholes on our roads without thinking that just maybe those mini dams everywhere could be as the result of 80% of our council doing some forward planning.
The recent rains have once again highlighted just how flood prone certain areas of our metro are.
Maybe the potholes littering our streets had assisted in preventing many homes and businesses from being flooded.
I am happy for the 80 percenters to now stand up and take the accolades for the forward…
